Doi Inthanon National Park Tours

A variety of trips and trekkings

Green Trails offers a wide range of Doi Inthanon National Park Tours from day tours to multiple-day trekkings and adventures. This national park has become one of the most popular destinations in North Thailand in the past 20 years. It boasts prolific bird life, fantastic waterfalls, Karen and Hmong ethnic minority villages, and an interesting royal project. The park also has two amazing nature trails: the Kew Mae Pan Trail and the Pha Dok Siew Trail.

The magnificent nature trails

We offer both nature trails in one day tour, called the Magnificent Nature Trails of Doi Inthanon. If hiking both trails is a bit too much you can also book the Might Waterfalls or the Hiking the Nature Trails day tour. Please remember that the Kew Mae Pan Trail is closed from May 31 until November 1 because the trail is too hazardous in the wet season.

The waterfalls of Doi Inthanon

The waterfalls of Doi Inthanon are famous. Most people visit the thundering Vachirathan and Pha Dok Siew waterfalls but the park has many smaller waterfalls that never dry up. They are at their most awesome in the wet season though. Park authorities don’t allow you to swim at these waterfalls but we know plenty of places where you can.

Karen and Hmong villages

The Karen and Hmong people already lived in the Doi Inthanon National Park when authorities declared this area a national park. The government allowed them to continue living in the park but their activities are controlled by park authorities. Karen and Hmong people work as guides on the nature trails to supplement their income from agriculture. Green Trails has very good contacts with the local Karen and Hmong people.
