Why two-day tours are so good
We offer several two-day tours. These include two-day treks. They give you the time to learn about the local life in mountain villages of tribal people who have been living like this for centuries. Spending the night in a tribal community is, for many people, still one of the highlights of their holiday.
A two-day/one-night tour also offers a bit more in-depth experience and less driving over two days. We would, for instance, certainly recommend two days for a destination such as Doi Inthanon National Park. Most people visit Doi Inthanon on a day tour. Depending on the traffic, a day tour to Doi Inthanon involves about four hours of driving. If you have a bit more time, we highly recommend spending the night in one of the lodges on Doi Inthanon.
Spending the night there will enable you to immerse yourself in the environment and the park’s unique climate. We will also be able to schedule your hikes at suitable times to avoid meeting other visitors as much as possible.
The same goes for an area like Chiang Dao. A day trip to Chiang Dao involves about three hours of driving, depending on the traffic. We encourage slow travel and as little driving as possible. For some areas, such as Huay Nam Dang National Park, a day trip is not possible. This wonderful national park is just too far from Chiang Mai.
