Chiang Mai National Parks
This is a short introduction to the Chiang Mai National Parks. There are a number of fantastic national parks in Northern Thailand such as Doi Inthanon, Chaesorn and Huay Nam Dang. Some of these Chiang Mai National Parks feature in our tours. Doi Inthanon National Park is the most popular park on North Thailand.
We feature several tours to Doi Inthanon National Park such as the day tours Mighty Waterfalls, Rural Life and Royal Chedis and the Hiking the Nature Trails tours. We strongly believe that this park is worth to stay overnight, hence our two day trekking tour.
Chaeson National Park is a less known park close to Chiang Mai. It is actually located in Lampang province. The village Baan Mae Kampong is on the edge of the park and has become a very popular destination for local tourists. They mostly visit the village and don’t go into the forest. This park offers superb trekking, fantastic views and hot springs.
Huay Nam Dang National Park is one of the classic trekking destinations in the north. There are villages of Karen, Lisu, Lahu and Shan people. The Mae Taeng River offers some of the best rafting in the North. If you are looking for a real old-school trekking this park is a fantastic destination.
